Oral Cancer and challenges:

Diagnosis of patient with Oral cancer largely depends on the stage of the cancer.
The challenge to diagnose the cancer at the early stage occurs primarily due to the lack of regular dental visit habit among the population.
Pearl dental clinic Dubai expert advices everyone to have a routine dental examination carried out every 6 months, in order to identify any abnormalities at the early stages. Majority of patients delay the dental checkup because of fear, particularly true among the young patients resulting in heavy damages.
Existing Dental problems such as calculus on the teeth, broken teeth, the condition of dental implants, status of existing dental repairs such as crowns or fillings and periodontal disease can also make oral cancer treatment challenging.
Tobacco products, heavy use of alcohol and particularly the combined use of both, have been implicated as the main causes of oral cancer. A typical high-risk profile for oral cancer is male, over age 40, who uses tobacco and/or heavy alcohol. Despite widespread knowledge of the risk that tobacco exposure and use poses, it is single-handedly responsible for wide spread diseases including Oral cancer. Pearl Dental Clinic have Smoking reduction programs that will help you reduce your nicotine intake and thereby safeguard you from potential oral and other cancers.

Examination of oral cancer can be easily carried out by convenient diagnostic methods such as Vital staining, fluorescence visualization, fresh biopsy, salivary analysis. (Faint recollections of people in rural areas with a ‘stick’ in their mouths early in the mornings? Yes, now you get it). Combining the functions of a toothbrush and toothpaste, Miswak’s antibacterial properties have saved many a people from cases of dreadful tooth decay and worse across the centuries. Reportedly, Miswak stick has been in use right since the time of the ancient Babylonians and Egyptians.  If you're a new user, the miswak might look intimidating, but using it is as easy as 1, 2, 3! 1: Peel 1cm of the outer layer,  2: Separate the bristles with your teeth or thumb, 3: Brush! # Miswak   # AskTheDentist   # RamadanKareem   # DubaiRamadan   # Fasting # DentalTips   # RamadanTips   # FriendlyDentist   # Best...
